1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Idlewire ("the Platform", "our Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Idlewire is a publishing platform that enables creators to build personal websites, publish articles and projects, engage with audiences through comments, and manage newsletter subscriptions. The Platform provides tools for content creation, audience engagement, and website customization. The Platform includes AI-powered features such as content analysis, writing suggestions, automated content moderation, and image generation to enhance the user experience.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account through our authentication provider, Clerk. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent to use the Platform.

4. Content and Usage Policies

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create and publish on the Platform ("Your Content"). By publishing content, you grant Idlewire a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content through the Platform.

4.2 Content Standards

You agree that Your Content will not contain material that:

  • •Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of privacy
  • •Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • •Contains software viruses or malicious code
  • •Promotes illegal activities or violence
  • •Contains spam or unsolicited commercial content
  • •Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation

4.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove content that violates these terms, though we are not obligated to monitor all content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our content policies.

4.4 AI-Generated Content and Analysis

4.4.1 AI Content Suggestions

  • •The Platform may provide AI-generated suggestions for improving your content
  • •These suggestions are advisory only and you maintain full control over your content
  • •You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI suggestions before implementation
  • •AI suggestions do not constitute editorial advice or professional writing services

4.4.2 AI-Generated Images

  • •The Platform may generate images (favicons, previews) using AI based on your inputs
  • •You are responsible for ensuring generated images comply with applicable laws
  • •Generated images are provided "as-is" without warranties of accuracy or appropriateness
  • •You may replace AI-generated images with your own at any time

4.4.3 Content Processing

  • •Your content may be processed by third-party AI services for analysis and suggestions when you use AI-powered features
  • •By using AI features, you consent to this processing under our Privacy Policy
  • •Some AI processing (such as automated content moderation) is integral to platform operation and safety
  • •You can choose whether to use optional AI features such as content analysis and image generation

5. Website Properties and Custom Domains

5.1 Property Creation

Creators can establish website properties with custom paths or domains. You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen domain or path does not infringe on trademarks or violate applicable laws.

5.2 Property Management

You have full control over your property's content, design, and settings. We provide hosting and technical infrastructure but do not control your content choices.
